Google Search Labs just announced Web Guide, which uses a version of Gemini to arrange your results by categories.
Google will officially deprecate links generated with its URL shortening tool next month. On August 25th, 2025, all links in the “https://goo.gl/*” format will no longer work and return a 404 error message.
To use the tool, tap on the “try it on” icon on a product listing in Google, or any apparel result on Google Images. You’ll be prompted to upload a full-length image of yourself, and from there AI will dress your image in the items you choose.

Google Maps users will no longer be able to follow other users or have profile followers come September. All data related to your followers and who you follow will be deleted. You’ll still be able to connect with contributors through Local Guides Connect.
