Jannik Sinner has been the man to watch this summer, riding a scorching win streak as he heads into the Cincinnati Open semifinals. On Saturday, he’ll face French breakout star Terence Atmane with a spot in the final — and a 26th straight hard-court victory — on the line.

Jannik defeated Terence Atmane in the semi-final in Ohio, celebrating his 200th ATP hard-court win and becoming the eighth-youngest player to achieve that in the Open era, standing right behind Rafael Nadal.

Frenchman Terence Atmane made sure Jannik Sinner had a 24th birthday to remember, gifting the world number one a Pokemon card before going on to lose their semi-final meeting at the Cincinnati Open on Saturday.

Jannik SInner showcased his dominance, overcoming a challenging first set to defeat the Terence Atmane 7-6(4), 6-2 in just 86 minutes.

Unless you’re a tennis die-hard, you probably didn’t know much about Terence Atmane before this week. The 23-year-old Frenchman is ranked as the World No. 136 and has played just 14 matches on the ATP Tour in the last calendar year.
