The premium outlet has renewed The Gilded Age, from creator Julian Fellowes, for a fourth season. The pickup comes with two episodes left in the show’s current third season and after solid ratings growth that has seen The Gilded Age set viewership highs multiple times this season.

The Gilded Age will return for a fourth season. The Julian Fellowes -created HBO series earned a season 4 renewal two weeks ahead of its season 3 finale, HBO announced Monday, July 28.

On July 28, the head of HBO's drama series and films department confirmed the fourth season while praising Downton Abbey's Julian Fellowes for creating another prime example of “'can't-miss it' entertainment," this time set in 1880s New York and starring the likes of Carrie Coon, Christine Baranski, Audra McDonald, and Cynthia Nixon.
