Kelsey Plum broke the WNBA record for most points in a season opener, scoring 37 in her Sparks debut Friday night in an 84-67 win over the Valkyries.

Wearing a white oversized T-shirt, black shorts and sleek knee-high black boots, Plum added flair with a long white cloth draped around her waist, flowing down past her knees. She held a white phone in her right hand as she confidently walked through the arena tunnel, marking her first regular-season game as a Spark.

One of the most compelling was Kelsey Plum making her debut with the Los Angeles Sparks after spending her entire professional career with the Las Vegas Aces' franchise to this point. Not to mention that the Sparks were facing the Golden State Valkyries in the expansion franchise's first-ever regular season game.
