Another federal prosecutor has resigned, more may soon follow, and the calls for Adams to step down are growing.

A top Trump appointee guided Mr. Adams’s legal team as they crafted an argument for dismissing corruption charges against the mayor of America’s largest city.

The U.S. Department of Justice filed court paperwork Friday to dismiss federal corruption case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams, after two days of resignations from prosecutors who refused to do so.
