The Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox are "prominently in" for Minnesota Twins closer Jhoan Durán, according to the New York Post's Jon Heyman.

The Phillies are acquiring the right-hander from Minnesota, The Post’s Jon Heyman reported. Pitcher Mick Abel and catcher Eduardo Tait are going back to Minnesota in the swap. Other teams interested in Duran included the Yankees, Mets, Mariners and Red Sox, per Heyman.
