The owner of South Bay Diner in Lindenhurst posted on social media that it has now closed its doors. The owner took the time to thank customers for their support, laughter and loyalty.

The proposal from Questus Capital, a Woodbury-based real estate firm, would convert part of the property into 59 luxury townhomes.
