The first three episodes of a must-watch comedy series led by a Hollywood A-lister has just hit streaming. It’s been described as ‘the new Ted Lasso’ and could be even better than the smash-hit soccer satire.

Apple TV+ has a new golf comedy, the Owen Wilson-starring ‘Stick,’ that’s the streamer’s best attempt yet at creating a new Ted Lasso.

If you crossed “Ted Lasso” with Woody Harrelson’s 1996 movie “Kingpin,” swapped in Owen Wilson and made the sport golf, you would probably get something like “Stick,” the 10-episode Apple TV+ comedy about a washed-up pro golfer trying to heal his psychic wounds by helping a teen prodigy live up to his potential.
