Langford’s .840 OPS is pretty much right on par with Jackson Chourio. Langford has reached base a bit more; Chourio has slugged a bit more. The point: He’s kept pace with the youngest elite players in the game.

The Texas Rangers scored a couple of runs while the San Francisco Giants were held off the board. The Astros lost tonight. So too did the Mariners. The Rangers won. In fact, they shut out their opponents.
