Members of two teams competing in the Babe Ruth World Series laid a wreath at the Babe Ruth statue at Majestic Park on Saturday, honoring the baseball legend on the 77th anniversary of his death.

TLBR, coached by Bruce Williams, finished pool play at 4-0 and entered single-elimination play as the tourney’s No. 1 seed.
