After a week where the Tigers stayed at No. 11, Auburn has moved up three spots in the latest USA TODAY Baseball Coaches Poll. Auburn jumped to No. 8 in the rankings after a weekend series win over Tennessee and a 3-0 victory against Samford.

Tennessee baseball has lost three straight SEC series and four of its past five after dropping a weekend to Auburn.

The Tigers won the series over Tennessee, taking games one and three against the No. 12 Volunteers. Each of the wins were relatively lopsided too, and the one loss came in extra innings after the contest had to be suspended and resumed the next day.
