The Eastbank All-Stars are representing Louisiana in Little League Baseball’s Southwest Region, with the region winner advancing to the World Series. Eastbank advanced to Tuesday’s region championship game with a 7-5 win over Texas East on Sunday, Aug. 1.

Ryan Delgado went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and struck out five in 3 2/3 innings and Jeremy Katz went 2-for-2 with two doubles, a walk and three RBIs to lead St. James/Smithtown to a 6-1 win over Fairfield National (Connecticut) in its second game of the Little League World Series Metro Region Tournament Monday afternoon at Breen Field.

More elimination games and spots in the Little League Baseball World Series Regional finals are up for grabs on Monday. Where: Central Region Headquarters (Whitestown, Ind.) Michigan had a tough time against Ohio on Sunday, falling 8-0 in their first game. Lexington responded to a loss by beating Indiana on Sunday.
