Kim Kardashian expressed her gratitude to "the French authorities for pursuing justice" in a statement to PEOPLE after eight of 10 suspects were found guilty in court for the Paris robbery trial.

Yunice Abbas told ABC News he only knew Kim Kardashian was the "wife of an American rapper" prior to the 2016 heist on her Paris hotel room.
