It revealed Capt. Christopher Pike sitting on the captain’s chair of the Enterprise — but as a puppet.

What Is Starfleet?' certainly asks that question, but more importantly, it asks another: what if we did an entire episode from the perspective of someone who is extremely bad at their job?

Strange New Worlds… Strange New Worlds has never been afraid to shy away from genre episodes with a murder mystery homage just a few weeks ago, and “What is Starfleet?” borrows from found footage and documentaries as we follow Beto,
