President Donald Trump threatens Colombia with tariffs after President Petro challenges U.S. Caribbean strikes targeting alleged narco-terrorists, escalating tensions.

The United States has launched military strikes on seven suspected drug trafficking vessels since September, killing at least 32 people.

President Donald Trump said the two survivors from a U.S. strike on a vessel suspected of carrying drugs are being sent back to their home countries.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro confirmed that one of the survivors of the U.S. military strike was returned to Colombia.

A planned five-day strike by thousands of registered nurses and other Kaiser Permanente health care workers in California, Hawaii and Oregon has ended.

As many as 31,000 union nurses and healthcare professionals ended their five-day strike against Kaiser Permanente in the Western U.S. without a labor agreement early Sunday, Oct. 19.
