Former Texas Tech star Patrick Mahomes endorsed Red Raiders linebacker Jacob Rodriguez as a Heisman Trophy finalist after his performance against BYU.

Last year, the Texas Tech Red Raiders — the alma mater of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes — began a 10-year partnership with Adidas, the same company that has had Mahomes as one of its premier athletes since he signed with the brand in 2017 as a rookie with the Chiefs.
