Feb 26, 2023 · The textbook/curriculum adoption process is different. I believe first the state of Florida has to approve which curricula are even permitted to be adopted, and then individual districts decide what to use for their schools.

Florida is still a rich state so naturally the public schools are still going to be solid compared to states like Mississippi, arkansas, west virginia, etc. We still have bottom 5 teacher pay in those k-12 schools and as evident by the last three years it catching up and getting worse for said teachers/public schools in florida.
