John Allen Chau didn't intend anyone to know his name; he intended to remain invisible to the world, whether he lived or died. On November 16, 2018, John arrived on North Sentinel Island for the last time. He had previously made contact with the people, even sending gifts ashore, but today he would go and walk toward their homes.
