Heading back to 1966 again now, with this vintage film from the last days of trolleybuses running in Nottingham, including footage of the special journey on the last day, 1 July 1966. The trolleybus, numbered 506, left King Street/Queen Street at 11:45 and travelled along Mansfield Road and Sherwood Rise to Nottingham Road. On board were the Mayor, Alderman Percy Holland and the official party. The driver was Albert Parish and the conductor was Fred Cooper. | Nottingham City Transport
